CUDDAPAH: Noiseofindia’s march into the disinformation age got an extra fillip today, after it bought the rights for a key DD expression for an undisclosed amount. This sets to rest speculation that the firm was in the red and in the process of being acquired by a less distinguished competitor. A Noiseofindia spokesperson said that the company’s financials were strong and that the new expression is likely to boost its stock price a further 43 Paisa.

The expression, “Situation is tense, but under control®” was earlier owned by Doordarshan but Mandi House was forced to sell it under pressure from Zee T.V’s “Shri Advaniji ne kaha®” and Star TV’s “43 year old Kishenbhai is a broken man®“. Doordarshan plans to use the proceeds of the sale to buy three well entrenched epithets viz. “noted thespian®“, “eminent jurist®“, and “ailing freedom-fighter ®” and then leverage these in the search engine market. Media analyst S.D.Ahuja says, “It might be a costly gamble for DD, but it is a risk they have to take. They are finally homing in on the 75-90 demographic, which constitutes their core audience.”
